Y a menos que priorices alguna otra m\u00e9trica por encima del RCP (Costo por Resultado), entonces esa no es mi opini\u00f3n, es un hecho.<\/p>\n<p>Entonces, \u00bfc\u00f3mo se utiliza? \u00bfC\u00f3mo se aprovecha esta plataforma masiva? Para entenderlo tienes que comprender c\u00f3mo funciona Facebook como empresa, qu\u00e9 es lo que les hace funcionar y por qu\u00e9 es tan importante que te subas ahora en lugar de esperar.<\/p>\n<h3>UNA VISI\u00d3N GENERAL DE LA PLATFORMA DE FACEBOOK EN EL 2018<\/h3>\n<p>Facebook tiene m\u00e1s de dos mil millones de usuarios activos en todo el mundo, doscientos millones de ellos s\u00f3lo en Estados Unidos. Eso es mucho, pero no es todo el mundo.<\/p>\n<p>En 2017, aproximadamente 2.4 millones de personas pose\u00edan tel\u00e9fonos inteligentes. Qu\u00e9 hacen con esos tel\u00e9fonos? Entre otras cosas, m\u00e1s del 50% de su tiempo lo pasan en plataformas de redes sociales. Eso representa varias horas de atenci\u00f3n al d\u00eda dedicadas a un peque\u00f1o n\u00famero de sitios muy grandes, siendo la palabra clave atenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook est\u00e1 luchando por esa atenci\u00f3n. Est\u00e1 luchando contra Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat y Youtube. Est\u00e1n luchando contra todas las b\u00fasquedas que producen Google o Bing y contra todos los blogs, sitios web o videos que existen en otros lugares y a los que cualquiera podr\u00eda acudir.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfC\u00f3mo lo hacen? Su estrategia es doble.<\/p>\n<p>Monopolizaci\u00f3n: Facebook se ha hecho de varias plataformas de redes sociales: Instagram, Messenger y WhatsApp. El razonamiento es sencillo: m\u00e1s plataformas, m\u00e1s usuarios, todos conectados. Si alguien salta de Facebook para buscar en Instagram, no hay p\u00e9rdida. Lo mismo con WhatsApp y Messenger, siguen \"en\" Facebook, o al menos en la familia. Y eso es justo lo que est\u00e1n haciendo ahora.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n son due\u00f1os de una de las mayores empresas de Realidad Virtual que hay: Oculus Rift, donde se est\u00e1n preparando para el futuro. Y no lo dudes, la Realidad Virtual, la Realidad Aumentada, estas cosas son el futuro. As\u00ed que, te guste o no, Facebook seguir\u00e1 existiendo durante mucho tiempo. Por suerte para ti, acaba de empezar.<\/p>\n<p>La segunda parte de su estrategia -y la m\u00e1s importante en la mente de Facebook- es muy simple y muy obvia. Mide sus \u00e9xitos o sus p\u00e9rdidas y determina las acciones que emprende. Es lo primero que piensa cualquier empresa inteligente.<\/p>\n<h3>EXPERIENCIA DE USUARIO<\/h3>\n<p>La experiencia del usuario se define como: La experiencia general de una persona que utiliza un producto, como un sitio web o una aplicaci\u00f3n inform\u00e1tica, especialmente en t\u00e9rminos de lo f\u00e1cil o agradable que es su uso.<\/p>\n<p>A esto me refer\u00eda en mi \u00faltimo post sobre la calidad de los contenidos.<\/p>\n<p>Puedes ver por qu\u00e9 todas sus acciones y reacciones giran en torno a esto. Si el usuario est\u00e1 satisfecho con lo que encuentra en su feed de FB, se quedar\u00e1.  Si est\u00e1n aburridos o molestos, se ir\u00e1n a otro sitio: Pinterest, Netflix o Amazon, tal vez.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed que, \u00bfves por qu\u00e9 se concentran en esto y c\u00f3mo se relaciona la primera parte de su estrategia? Si alguien encuentra aburrido lo que est\u00e1 viendo en Facebook, se ir\u00e1 a otro sitio. Si ese otro lugar es Tumblr o DeviantArt, entonces han perdido. Pero si es Messenger o Instagram, est\u00e1 bien.<\/p>\n<p>What does this have to do with you?<\/p>\n<h3>LA CALIDAD DEL CONTENIDO DE SUS ANUNCIOS DE FACEBOOK DETERMINA SU COSTO POR RESULTADO<\/h3>\n<p>Es cierto. Determina lo bien que funcionan tus anuncios, el alcance o la falta de alcance que les da Facebook. Y lo que es m\u00e1s importante, determina cu\u00e1nto pagas por ese alcance. Y no me refiero s\u00f3lo al alcance org\u00e1nico, sino a la recompensa que Facebook te da en funci\u00f3n de la calidad del contenido de tu anuncio.<\/p>\n<p>Este es posiblemente el aspecto m\u00e1s importante a tener en cuenta a la hora de crear tus anuncios. Si tu contenido es bueno -es decir, es interesante, tiene valor, se comunica de una manera que a la gente le gusta o disfruta, y que les hace querer compartirlo o hablar de \u00e9l- Facebook va a reducir tu costo por resultado. Y dependiendo de cu\u00e1nto guste tu contenido, puede ser un descenso bastante dr\u00e1stico.<\/p>\n<p>Ya lo has visto antes. El video viral que parece estar en todas partes. Y sabes que ese ni\u00f1o no pag\u00f3 a Facebook para anunciarlo. Por supuesto que no. La gente simplemente lo am\u00f3. As\u00ed que les gust\u00f3, lo comentaron, lo compartieron: la experiencia del usuario fue buena y la gente se qued\u00f3 en Facebook. Al reconocer esto, Facebook ayud\u00f3 a que el video se difundiera m\u00e1s para que otros lo vieran y... se quedaran en Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>A la inversa, si tu contenido es aburrido, no aporta valor, no gusta ni se comparte, el algoritmo de Facebook lo equipara a que los usuarios abandonen Facebook y se vayan a otra plataforma. As\u00ed que tu costo por resultado aumenta, y sigue aumentando.<\/p>\n<p>Esto tambi\u00e9n funciona como una m\u00e9trica del rendimiento de un anuncio y un indicador de cu\u00e1ndo es el momento de cambiar de anuncio. Si tu costo por resultado ha sido de un d\u00f3lar por cliente potencial durante la \u00faltima semana o el \u00faltimo mes, y ahora es de dos d\u00f3lares, o de cuatro o de cinco, sabes que ese anuncio se ha quedado obsoleto. La gente lo ha visto. Lo encontraron interesante y lo compartieron, y Facebook te recompens\u00f3 con un costo por resultado bajo. Pero ahora se ha quedado obsoleto. La gente ya no lo ve ni lo comparte. La experiencia del usuario ya no es buena. As\u00ed que Facebook te cobra m\u00e1s por promocionarlo.<\/p>\n<p>Esto es en realidad lo que llev\u00f3 a mucha gente a decir que la publicidad en Facebook no funciona. Vieron que su costo por resultado aumentaba, no entendieron lo que estaba pasando y abandonaron el barco.<\/p>\n<p>Pero ellos se lo pierden. Si sabes c\u00f3mo jugar el juego - y es un juego muy f\u00e1cil de jugar - puedes arrasar en el.
