Failure is a part of success. I know that may sound crazy, but it\u2019s true.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this video, you\u2019ll hear how I use the game of baseball to explain it. Along with some of my own challenges.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, If you think about it, when someone succeeds 3 out of 10 times at bat they can end up in the hall of fame.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pretty amazing, right?<\/span><\/p>\n

You can literally fail 70 % of the time and still be looked at as a successful player.<\/span><\/p>\n

The key is to keep training and keep trying.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Because it would seem pretty weird if a baseball player quit the game after the first strikeout, right?<\/span><\/p>\n

With that thought, it also seems weird if a person quits on their business, their education, their relationships, their career, etc. after one or two failures.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So, why do you think so many people quit before they succeed at what they want?<\/span><\/p>\n

Is it because they\u2019re not good enough?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Is it because they don\u2019t care enough?<\/span><\/p>\n

Is it because they\u2019re not smart enough?<\/span><\/p>\n

Is it because they don\u2019t believe in themselves?<\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe\u2026but probably not.<\/span><\/p>\n

My opinion is that many people who quit do so because they don\u2019t have a clear plan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Think of it like this.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you want to go on a trip would you choose a destination before you left and make a detailed plan on how to get there or would you just start driving and hope you end up somewhere you want to be?<\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from a few adventurous people, I bet you choose the destination and detailed plan. I know I would.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But why?<\/span><\/p>\n

Because when you have a specific destination and detailed plan it allows you to control the journey much better.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Being this specific actually gives you a greater opportunity for success because you likely have backup plans and ways to handle setbacks or disruptions to the trip.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the same with your business and its growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you have a detailed plan and strategy you are much more prepared to handle the inevitable failures you will face along the way.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Just one more thing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Failures are great teaching moments if you\u2019re paying attention. Because they give you the opportunity to learn how NOT to do something.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Generate leads without a website?<\/span><\/p>

That\u2019s right.<\/p>

This might sound impossible on the surface, but by choosing the correct Facebook ad campaign options, it can easily be done by using Facebook Lead Ads.<\/span><\/p>

You will see how to smooth out the lead generation process by simply having your target audience tap your ad which brings up a pre-populated form with their Facebook contact information ready to be sent directly to you.<\/span><\/p>

But, we need to get some definitions out of the way first.<\/span><\/p>


What is a lead?<\/span><\/h2>

First and foremost a lead is a person and we need to remember to treat them as a person.<\/span><\/p>

That said, a lead is a person who raises her hand and shows interest in the products and or services that you provide through your company. When I say \u2018raises her hand\u2019 I\u2019m saying the person provided contact information in exchange for something you\u2019ve offered, often for free.<\/span><\/p>

Once interest has been established you can now direct more specific communication to this person about what she raised her hand about.<\/span><\/p>

Why do you want leads?<\/span><\/h2>

The whole purpose of a lead is to generate new business and sales for your company.<\/span><\/p>

These sales are the lifeblood of your business, meaning if you\u2019re not getting enough people in the doors, or the metaphorical doors if you\u2019re an online-only business, you won\u2019t have a business to support your family and or employees\u2019 families.<\/span><\/p>

Also, remember that I said leads are people?<\/span><\/p>

If you\u2019re not getting these leads, these people, you can\u2019t help improve lives.<\/span><\/p>

So, if you want to support your family, your employees, and help people improve their lives then you want leads.<\/span><\/p>

What is lead generation?<\/span><\/h2>

Lead generation is the process of attracting strangers who, most likely, don\u2019t know who you are and what your business does and introducing them to the solutions you provide.<\/span><\/p>

Then you need an offer to give in exchange for the contact information of a person to make them an actual lead.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

What is Facebook lead generation?<\/span><\/h2>

Simply, it\u2019s using Facebook and its super-powerful advertising platform to perform the lead generation actions you just read about.<\/span><\/p>

One of the great things about using Facebook for lead generation is that you can easily build interest through your posts. Image posts are good, but videos are even better because you can build custom audiences from the people who view your videos.<\/span><\/p>

Now that we\u2019ve got a good understanding of leads, lead generation, and Facebook lead generation, how do you generate leads without a website?<\/span><\/p>

By using the Facebook lead generation campaign objective and creating a customized lead ad form or \u201cinstant form\u201d.<\/span><\/p>

How to set up a Lead Generation campaign<\/span><\/h2>

Go into your Facebook business manager, click create a new campaign, and choose the Lead Generation objective.<\/span><\/p>

Then follow the standard ad set up procedure. When you get to the end of ad level you will be asked to create an instant ad form.<\/span><\/p>

\"\"<\/span><\/p>

When you\u2019re creating your instant lead form you\u2019ll need to fill out or create several questions. First, you\u2019ll name your form and then choose whether you want more volume or higher intent leads. This choice helps Facebook decide who to show your ad to.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\"\"<\/span><\/p>

Next, you\u2019ll be deciding which questions you want your leads to answer before you provide them the offer you promised in your ad. Generally, you\u2019re looking for name, email, and phone numbers.<\/span><\/p>

You can rearrange the order of the questions. As you can see in the image above it shows email, full name, and phone number. If you\u2019d like the order to be name, email, phone you can do that. If you\u2019d like phone, email, and name you can do that too. Under the \u2018Questions\u2019 section on the left side, you can simply click and drag the questions into which ever order you\u2019d like.<\/span><\/p>

After you finish the \u2018Questions\u2019 section you get to the \u2018Privacy\u2019 section. In this section you\u2019ll need to provide a link to a privacy policy.<\/span><\/p>

Now, I\u2019m not your lawyer, in fact I\u2019m not a lawyer at all, but if you don\u2019t have a privacy policy yet you can Google privacy policies and learn how to create one and then add it.<\/span><\/p>

The final piece of your instant form is the completion, it\u2019s kind of like a thank you page on a website.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

You can thank or congratulate your new lead, tell them what to expect next, and even give the lead an extra call to action in an attempt to connect with them sooner than later.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Take this new information and go set up your own Facebook lead ad so that you can generate leads even if you don\u2019t have a website.<\/span><\/p>
